How to stay on site but enjoy offsite days

We plan to stay on site without car for 16 nights LRP/CSR split stay.
However we do want to get offsite for some days.
Are there coach day trips we can book or how easy is it to sort from being onsite guests. Do i need to plan in advance ?

Any chance you would hire a car for a few days? There are rental companies right on the lobby of the bigger hotels. It really is the best way of doing a day trip here.

Well, it depends where offsite you want to go particularly? You can walk to a part of offsite from Disney if you’re so inclined (some restaurants and hotels) but if you’re after shopping malls you could easily use Uber to avoid hiring a car.

What did you want to cover offsite?

ETA if LPR is Royal Pacific it’s possible to get offsite by foot there also.

Sorry yes Royal Pacific by bad typos!

To be honest this is our fourth trip a d we just thought its high time we ventired off Universal and Disney resorts.

Couple of ideas where

Beach day
Discovery Cove
Any shopping mall
Kennedy Space Centre

Maybe just eat offsite for a change too

We debated a car, although ive done the car with my parents and have seen it make a difference. Hubby wont be convinced we should drive and he is an awful passeneger so dont want to even attempt me driving as I don't want to be diacussing a divorce whilst on holiday 🤣

Discovery cove and shopping mall are very easy and not expensive by uber if you don’t want to hire a car.

KSC is on the coast so you could combine visiting there with a beach visit nearby (but KSC is an all day experience so you might not have time).

For beaches and KSC, the east coast of Florida is closest to Orlando but is still a solid hour’s drive. The west coast is half an hour further than that (possibly more actually).

A car would be the best option in my view for those as Uber will get very expensive for multiple trips there?

Driving is very easy

For shopping it would only be a short cab ride to both Mall @ Millenia or Prime Outlets from RPR.

I think Mears still run excursions to various places but might be just as cheap to rent a small car for a day.

Hi, you can get a coach to Kennedy run as a day trip. If you google it there are a few companies that do them. You can also do quite a lot of other trips, airboat ride, little screamer, shopping etc.
