All these big stores closing is quite frightening and who knows what the high streets will look like in the future. If it’s anything like one of my local towns, they will be full of charity shops and pound stores.

To be fair, it used to be a great shop with adult sized clothes and homeware along with the kids stuff. These days it's more of an over priced toyshop.

I do pop in there but I buy a lot more from Primark. So, I guess, if everyone is like me it's not surprising they are closing most stores.

This is sad. I work for a large retailer and cover a lot of stores. Going into most of the shopping centres is awful just now. They are decimated. I have no idea how they are going to fill some of the vacant spaces. They are going to have to think other than retail.
I love going into the Disney store for a wee look. It always cheers me up, especially at Christmas. I always said to my dh they should have a travel agent in here as it makes you want to go back every time!
Such a shame for the staff.

Our town have lost 3 charity shops since the panademic started! Lots of empty shops in a previously affluent town.

My DD mentioned this to me earlier - very sad news, especially for those working there.

I don’t think DD and I have ever been to Cardiff and not popped in for our Disney fix 🙁

Agreed , the days when you could get really fun and decent quality adult apparel and nice collectibles . I worked as a CM at Heathrow part time , it was really fun !

This is really sad news 😫 My closest one is at at Meadowhall where so many large shops have closed this year there will be nothing left in there soon 😢
