You can only book EMR 12 weeks out, therefore your dates will not yet be available.
So you won’t be able to book until around the last week of July.

Hi thanks for your help. I don't understand the timetables, because our dates are 10th September outgoing and 18th September returning. Both dates are within the 12 weeks.

I even checked for August, and all I get is either Sold out or Timetable unavailable.

I know they had a problem with their timetable a few weeks ago, and I think they may have switched to an emergency timetable. I'll go to the station tomorrow and try and find out.

I have tried to book train tickets in the pre covid 12 week advance window and have struggled to do so more then a month or 6 weeks out. Due to covid travel restrictions train companies are releasing tickets closer to the day of departure.
Going to speak to someone in the station is a good shout and hopefully they can tell you when they will go on sale.

OP your first post says your travel dates are October so that’s why people think you are too early

Thanks Disneybear. Sorry, I didn't realise I'd put October in. It should have been September.
I must have had a senior moment (again) 🤔😊

I seem to have had a lot of them since lockdown.

Last time we wanted trains not showing as too far in advance we went to our loal train station and were able to get a price and book them. Might be worth a try.

Thanks JAF. I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Remembered they did transfers to the cruise pick up on the M1.

No idea of prices or regularity.

Thanks for that. I had heard about coach transfers, but I think the pickup is too awkward on the M1 for us.

Can’t remember whether it was you I suggested this to previously, but are there any taxi services doing transfers in your area? Where I am in South Wales, we have taxis to Heathrow, and the driver mentioned he had gone to Southampton cruise port also. It could even work out cheaper if there are several of you.
