Infinity Annual Passes

We bought six Infinity AP's way back in the summer of 2019. Obviously covid came along and spoiled our year of magic.

Anyway we got a few days of use out of them last summer.

End of next month we're meant to be going to Florida, yet I've probably more chance of winning the lottery in comparison than us being allowed in.

So we're now looking at driving to DLRP and using our AP's which have been extended to the end of October 2021.

The issue is that we can only book three days on their registration system, which is pretty much useless for passes with no black out days.

Seems we can't book further days until the first day has been used.

So you can't even plan a weeks worth of visits.

I've had a good read of the T&C's but can't find anything about refunds.

Now we have Macron wanting even double jabbed visitors from the UK to quarantine for 14 days.

Seems every route to fun is being blocked whether us being stopped going into the US, or indeed using our AP's.

What a pain!

We plan to go in November (our APs have been extended to end November). So let’s hope things change before then!

The problem with the registration days was that AP holders were booking whole weeks and then not even going. So no-one else could book.

I believe if you are staying at an onsite hotel you don’t need to make park reservations.

Well good luck for November Gill.

We've found the on site hotels way too expensive, even with AP discounts, and the quality disappointing. Only the Disneyland Hotel has met expectations for us, but it is way overpriced for what you get. Different topic of conversation however.

I can understand how AP holders could abuse the system. Worked well for us last summer, we booked a handful of days, and we turned up and used them.

Will see if Macron goes through with a threat to impose a quarantine. If he does, we'll have to drive straight through to Spain... not easy, but will be a case of needs must.

All the best.

We have stayed at Cheyenne many times, it’s fine - just a 10 min walk along the river and the theming is great, particularly since the refurb. Last time we booked to stay there it would have been £400 for 4 nights with free half board.

Sounds like a great deal. Last August we paid around £380 a night for the Sequoia Lodge... we arrived to a room with broken furniture, stained carpet, handle missing from the window, and a toilet that smelt of stale urine. So we complained, got absolutely nowhere (lady told us it was the style of the hotel... my Wife & I burst out laughing), and ended up paying a further £100 ish a night to move across to Newport Bay. Was nicer, but not worth close the money, and never mind half board, we didn't even have breakfast included :o)

Currently got reservations at the Novotel Marne La Vallee. £60 a night.

Stayed at SL many times and never had a bad room. But it is currently closed for refurb.

Offsite is fine and we have stayed at the Ibis which is 5 minutes on the RER. But next time we have Art of Marvel booked- really hoping we get there.

Since Disney bought out DLP fully, the hotel prices have rocketed and the 4 nights for 2 deals have disappeared, sadly.

Sounds like you're a canny booker of rooms.

We stayed at the New York before the refurb... ground floor room, with a patio door that wouldn't lock. Maybe we've been unlucky, yet we've had enough poor experiences to paint a poor picture.

We also did Portaventura last summer too, first time visit, staying at the Callahans Hotel... now that was a lovely large room, aircon worked so well... real luxury in many respects.

Got a great last minute deal, full board. Way too much food 🙂

We're hoping to drive down after Disney again next month.

Really surprised us.
