fast and furious (aka speedy and angry)

so who's going to watch the new SPEEDY AND ANGRY with skim beeble movie at the cinema this week?

i cant go this week, but am booking into the sheffield imax for early next week with my friend who agrees that CRANK 2 is one of the greatest movies ever made, so anything with jason statham in, we'll go to see it at the cinema.

we know statham isnt in this one, but that's not going to stop us. we just want big dumb shiny fun!

watched all the previous ones again a few months ago in preparation for this coming out. i'd not rewatched some of them since they were originally released. speedy and angry: japan floating almost put me off the franchise, but they brought it back with 4&5, and now the movies in the franchise just get bigger, stupider and more fun as they go along

in related news, i've not been to universal since they opened the ride, will i love it, or is it going to be the new twister/pirates ride for me?

I’d rather poke my eyes out with a rusty fork.
That Paul Walker sketch on those pictures is awful! Yikes

have you seen any of the recent movies? they arent just blokes racing cars nowadays, since fast 5, they are more of an oceans 11/mission impossible style massive heist movie, and they just go bigger and bigger with each sequel

what other movies have the rock, skim beeble, sasha valentine from hollyoaks, jason statham AND ludacris?!

I’ve seen all of them through no fault of my own..
I enjoyed them when they were about cars but after Tokyo drift they just got so ridiculous and the last few have been absolute toilet

Love all the Fast and Furious films especially when they feature two of my favourite bald me - Vin Diesel and The Rock 😬

What did you think?

I thought it was typical ‘leave your brain at the door’ stuff. Absolutely brilliant.

that was every big as big, dumb and ridiculous as i could have hoped for! absolutely loved it. the bit with the bridge near the start was all sorts of insanity

my only regret is i didnt know it was out when it was, so didnt get to see it on the big imax screen in sheffield

reminds me of the episode of breaking bad where they scramble the laptop inside the police evidence lockup.

MAGNETS, YO!

also, i hope you all stayed for the mid credits bit?!
