Will amending car hire dates hike the price?

I've had three emails from Andy in the last year or so asking if I wanted to cancel. I've said no each time and just rolled my booking over - hoping to pick my own Alamo car at MCO in November. I've already signed up for the Visitor Toll Pass again.

The dozens of threads I've read on here since April 2020 saying "I've booked my car hire through Dodgy Brokers Ltd and my flights have been cancelled but I can't get my car hire payment back" No such issues with Andy.

Very easy to amend your booking as well if price comes down though Manage My Booking.

I enquired about changing dates, 3 less days than the original booking and the price almost doubled. This was with Andy.

Hiya maca... aye, car hire prices are off the wall. If your trip does come off I'd give the car back 3 days early and say nowt

We’re the other way round, want to add on 2 days, scared to look at what the price might be as we got a great deal from 2020. Prices are crazy

If your car hire is relative to your countdown I'd sit tight and see what happens price wise once the suppliers can build up their inventories.
