Happily Ever After and Epcot Forever permanently retiring.

I've just read that from the 29th September both shows will be permanently retired 😔

I really wanted to see HEA in person so I really hope enchantment is just as good

I’m not sure I read that as HEA is permanently retired? 🧐. The wording is vague but to me it implies Epcot forever is retiring permanently, but it’s the last opportunity to see HEA (for a while)? ? Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my behalf lol

I definitely read it as both are ending. Although there's nothing to stop them bringing any show back for a limited run.

It's this bit that makes it clear it's both I think.

"That means this summer is also your last chance to come out and catch the current fireworks shows before they sparkle into Disney history"

I love HEA and controversially though Wishes was muh! I am just hoping that the replacement (and not just the 50th show) is as good as HEA and isn't part of the inevitable cutbacks

Maybe HEA is just on a break while there’s something that’s particular to the 50th anniversary?

There is a new show for the 50th but I think a lot of people were hoping HEA would be back after that was finished, which looks like it won't be the case.

We loved Wishes and loved HEA. Was hoping to see it one more time but sadly now we won’t, however I am excited to see what the new show will bring. I’m sure it will bring tears to my eyes when we are stood in MK watching it. Especially after everything we’ve all been through x
