Disney/Universal combo Refund.

Hi all

I am looking to book 4 x Disney/Universal combo tickets for July next year from Attraction Tickets ( formerly ATD)

One thing is troubling me... given all this COVID malarkey
And the high risk of cancellation am I right in assuming I would not be able to get a refund if I activated the cards to book fast passes etc.

£2800 is a lot of money to lose but equally trying to book fast passes at the last minute, especially for some rides, is impossible,..

What’s your opinions

No, tickets don't activate until they're used for entry into the parks. Any bookings don't count as activation. Although at the moment, we still don't know the state of fastpass as it still hasn't returned.

When booking with ATD they will clearly explain the options around refunds etc. I had to switch my tickets from this year to next last week and they were very good over the phone - explained the various options to me which enable me to decide how best to proceed.

They are very used to this now so don't worry.

There is no one ticket which gives you access to both Disney and Universal, you get 2 separate tickets. In theory you could end up being able to get a full refund for both of them, one of them or from neither depending on each companies policy. Attraction Tickets will have their own policy as well for which you may have to pay for such as only getting a percentage of the ticket costs back.

I had the combo deal which won't be valid for our rescheduled trip as the US ticket part is no longer available. They switched my US tickets for the appropriate tickets for next year and my Disney tickets were added to a new hotel booking (wasn't staying at a Disney Resort originally) so I could claim the new offers. The only cost was the increased ticket charges for 2022 which you would expect to pay.
