Transferring WDW to DLP

Just wondering if it’s possible to transfer the deposit from a WDW booking for next year to Disney Paris?
We’ve booked, with a £50 deposit, a 5 night stay for next summer direct with Disney. We’re hoping we will go, but if it doesn’t work out has anyone transferred the deposit to a DLP trip? Is this possible?

Anyone? I know Paris isn’t looking much more likely than the US at the moment but it would be useful to know what our options could be
Thanks

I would say no, as they are two different trading companies but under the Disney umbrella

Just ring the FF number and ask?

Thank you, I did think that may be the case. I will ring if/when we’re more sure of what we want but, for now, it’s just a case of finding out if it’s an option

I would say there would be a possibility given how good Disney customer service is. It depends which site you booked on perhaps.

Thank you, I booked on the UK WDW site. Somewhere in the depths of my mind, I feel I read on here once of someone who did manage to transfer the deposit to DLP which is why I thought I’d ask.

I’ve always found Disney to be excellent with customer service too but I know DLP is run by a different company so that could make it more complicated

Yes if you booked it on disneyholidays.co.uk then that is the official disney travel site covering wdw & Disneyland Paris so id be disappointed if they wouldnt transfer to be honest

Yes that was the one, thank you. Ideally we’d love to keep it as a Florida WDW trip but it’s good to know that we may be able to change it if we decided it was a better option for us

Thank you, it was possible for you to get the refund with no problem though? Was this for a trip due soon, or next year?
