The Epic really is a large and unique ship, but the good thing about being on a Transatlantic cruise is that you will have lots of time to get to know the ship and the best way to navigate around her. There is no mid ship elevators, so keep this in mind when you are trying to get from one end of the ship to the other.

Water stations are available in the buffet area, and you can ask at any bar for a glass of water. The ships water tastes absolutely fine

I don't believe that any of the rooms have kettles, but you can order continental breakfast to your room free of charge and request tea with it. The hot water comes is a thermos jug. If you order any cooked items, they will charge you a fee.

Can I ask if you know what the itinerary is for your cruise, because I am assuming the have changed some of the ports due to hurricane damage

Let me know if you have any more questions

Had an email from ncl the itinerary has changed instead of going to St Thomas we are now going to Ponta Delgada in the Azores , we are now taking a more northerly route so I'm guessing the weather won't be very good and the sea could be rough .
