Clearwater - Sand Pearl Resort

I have- we stayed on our honeymoon 2 years ago for 2 nights. It was a really lovely hotel, we loved it. Unfortunately the weather was awful, so we didn't get to try out the pool etc. The Clearsky cafe next door was amazing food. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will try to remember!

we have just booked a week there for next year after our 14 nights at disney ... what is the beach like? will we be close to restaurants etc?

You are right on the front.
Lots of things right beside you.
Clear sky cafe next door. Frenchys on the other side with palm pavilion.
Just down the road across from Hilton shanty cafe... best breakfast in Clearwater.
Great bars and eating places all along the front.
Gondalier is our favourite down by the pirate mini golf!
Bait cabin at the bottom of the marina is another favourite of ours...
We will be in them all next week!

The pure white powder white sand and calm sea is amazing... the sunsets on the beach are something else...

Yes, we have stayed here twice and heading back for 5 days on 2nd January 18. Hotel has it's own private stretch of beach that is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is an easy walk from Pier 60 and far enough away from it not to be troubled by the bustle of it. As previous poster mentions, lots of eating places close by. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is also close by if you have an interest in animal conservation. We stayed in a One Bedroom Gulf View Sandpearl Suite which was fantastic. It has a full kitchen and dining area, huge spa bath with separate shower cubicle. There is also a washer/dryer in a cupboard in the bathroom which was handy when coming to the end of our trip. I am sure you will have a great stay.

It's a lovely resort- I'm looking forward to a couple of nights there again in September.

Some of our favourite memories from our last trip were watching the sunset from the pool bar then sitting round the fire pit after dark with a few cocktails and our feet in the soft white sand
