San Diego Weather Next Month?

We are travelling to San Diego in a months time and was just wondering if anyone could tell me how warm it would be on an evening? I can't decide what to pack and whether I will need jeans/hoodie/warm clothes to go out to eat on a night.

October evenings are typically cool, mostly in the 60's and sometimes will get into the high 50's. The evenings have already got into the 60's lately. Jeans and hoodies are usually what I am wearing out in the evenings during this time of year.
