Where are you off to next Lell? Pismo is a funny little town isn't it! But we liked it. Enjoy

We really like it - had an amazing meal last night at Ventana Grill if anyone is looking for recommendations😀
We are heading off to Monterey(2 nights), San Francisco(3 nights), Yosemite and Sequoia both for two nights and then our final night at Vegas before heading home. We did Vegas in February so rearranged our plans a bit!

On our recent trip, one of the best things we did was to book condos in Marina del Rey (The Shores) and Las Vegas (Polo Towers). Although we only had one teenager with us, the space was a godsend, as was the amount of space. As the two had full kitchens, it made things a bit cheaper allowing us to make our own breakfasts and lunches, and a couple of times in MdR we bought a take-out meal from a nearby Ralph's grocery store.

The only drawback is that usually with condos, they have a much more restricted cancellation policy than hotels. We had actually booked several cancellable hotels before we booked our condos, so it didn't cost us anything to change. The other advantage was that the condos were cheaper than a hotel room.

We also stopped at the Hilton Garden Inn at Pismo Beach overnight on our way down from SFO to Marina del Rey, and had 4 nights in the Hilton in San Francisco... felt very cramped after our previous condos!

Sounds great. We visited San Fran, Monterey & Yosemite last month (&Vegas 2)
So varied & all wonderful - hope you have a great time! It looks like the Sept weather now is better than our August weather (foggy & cool) but it was still a great holiday
