Have to say I was horrified when the bus pulled into the entrance and it was just green construction fences everywhere and then you came to the real deal, you can't exactly hide large cranes, diggers and large piles of debris plus the new wooden/metal bridge is up to connect you from El Centro to the dig site and as you got nearer to the bridge the noise was evident.

I am so glad I moved as I wouldn't have been able to have coped and think I would have asked for a move before really checking in.

It meant so much to my friend and I that when we caught our first glimpse of our Disney Hotel that there be no construction visible, err they couldn't exactly hid the construction at CSR

POFQ is such a small resort with everything you need on the doorstep and just one bus stop rather than a few around the resort.
The food court was lovely with a variety of choice and we loved coming back each night and popping to our room to grab our mugs for a cheeky drink of hot chocolate and some beignets😀
We were in block 4 and had been upgraded to a garden view rather than STD view which was a nice surprise.
Although the pool seemed small initially it actually had the capacity to handle a large number of people and plenty of sun beds for all, and a great splash zone for smaller children.
The boat to Disney Springs was also great although we did prefer the bus back at night only cos we couldn't figure out how the boats see anything in the dark. We did once as a return trip but after that we got the boat going and the bus back.
We didn't have any problems with any buses and only once did we have to wait at Magic Kngdom after close for a bus, but there were so many waiting we had 3 buses sent.
I can't wait to go back again 😀

So under two weeks until we fly, does anyone know which rooms or even area has been referbished?

Gave in on trying to move as Thomson were useless so just making the most of it really.

We have logged a separate complaint about the service given and limited options provided.

Hi, I just want to let you know how our stay was back in August. Apologies for the delay - sadly my lovely dad passed away just after we checked in for our flight to Florida so the holiday as a whole was very surreal, hence the delay. Anyhow, our stay at Coronado was absolutely amazing! We were given Cabanas 8A and so a newly refurbished room. Yes the area where the construction is was not pretty but it was just a small section and did not bother us at all. It was the most serene and peaceful place I've ever been to. The lake is just beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. My two girls had a fabulous time, I hope those that haven't been yet have a wonderful time.

7a was not completely finished back in August still some rooms on the top floor been renovated , so some noise when we where there hopefully finished by now.

They had a water leak that caused damage to some of the new rooms and had to be redone. Bad work by the contractor.
