Titanic exhibition
Evening all.
Has anyone been to the Titanic exhibition on International drive please? My dad wants to go ( big fan ) and he uses a mobility scooter. Is the place fully accessible? Can't really see on their website. Thanks! |

I took my boys in 2015. My youngest is in a wheelchair and from what I remember it was fully accessible then. Obviously it may of changed since then. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and made a nice change from the parks. Enjoy

Yup we went in 2012 and really enjoyed it.
They do the tour really well to be fair. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something a bit different to do. |

Hi just a little word of advice about this = Do NOT go on last tour of the day !
We found it interesting but did not really add anything to our existing knowledge - but for those who know little about the disaster it was probably more useful. They had several genuine articles from the ship and we were told as we were going round not to worry standing and reading all about them now as we would be able to re-enter and look at them at leisure once the guided tour finished. We were keen to do this as did not have time on the tour to look at anything for more than a very brief period. Unfortunately when we exited through the shop and went to go back to the entrance we were told it was now CLOSED We had gone in at about 4pm and it seems that is the last tour of the day but no one told us that including the costumed guide who kept saying as he hurried us through that we could go back round later ! So if you do go do not go on the last tour ! We left feeling rather cheated at the brief experience !

Hi, we did this in 2013, we did the first tour of the day which was either 10 or 10.30am. Roughly there was a group of 12 including a gentleman in a wheelchair, which he had full access to the exhibition. We really enjoyed it, although the gift shop is slightly surreal. Tip I got from another dibber maybe take a light cardi or jacket as it does get cold in some parts
