We stayed at Saratoga Springs for the first time in August. If you click below on our food report, you will find photos of the resort on page 29. We also ate at The Turf Club & Artist's Palette, which you will find links to in the index. Hope it helps.

Thank you. I've heard good things about the Turf Club so excited to check it out. Being able to walk to Disney Springs is such a great bonus.

Thank you! I will certainly go and check it out. Love a good food report.

We are at MCO now waiting to fly home. This trip was our 38th in SSR so any questions ask away.

Also bear in mind Congress Park and The Springs areas are preferred locations for DVC Members so cost more in points. Very rare to see cash bookings there.

If we didn't do Congress it would be the Paddocks, if with young children then the Grandstand.
Never accept a room in the Carousel! No pool and back of beyond.

We stayed in Grandstand and loved SSR, the bus stop was straight outside our room. The smaller pool with drinks machine took 2 minutes to get to and the larger pool and Artists Palette was a 5 minute walk. You can walk to Disney Springs or get the water taxi and the buses to all parks were very regular. It was our first visit and we absolutely loved it and would certainly book there again.

You were lucky being at that end as Paddock is miles long.

I know it's now a DVC preferred area but we stayed last Nov and got Congress, and even then got the nearest block to the bridge so we were literally yards from it, which was perfect for us. However there are no facilities at the pool there and it's a fair trek to Carriage House.

We were in the Springs area in August, room 3110. We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade from a Studio to a 2-bed villa.
Great location in my opinion, and our new favourite resort.

38 trips! That speaks for itself. Thank you. No specific questions at the moment (although there may be some later on), just wanted to get a feel for the place as we've never visited. Great advice re the Carousel - noted!

Thank you. It certainly looks like Grandstand is coming in as a favourite location here. Glad you had a great time there.

I have to say, looking at the map, the Paddock area does look enormous. Sounds like some blocks are closer to DS than to the main areas at the hotel which needs me to get my head around a bit!
