IMO, OKW and SSR are lovely but being standalone DVC properties, they're not a "deluxe resort" as most people would think of them. Even compared to the other DVCs, as the rest are all attached to deluxe resorts.
However, they can be a fab bargain - particularly when you're booking free dining for more than 3 or so people as they work out cheaper than booking a value/moderate and upgrading to the full DDP plan. So I would choose either one over any of the moderates, unless you wanted to keep the QSDP option. Note this comment is for the 1 bed villas, I suspect you're looking at the studios. Which at OKW, are just two normal beds instead of any sleeper sofa/chair option. Although I would agree the 1 bed is a good option if your budget stretches to it. |
