Westhaven - differenc in the resorts?
Hi I have been recommended Westhaven to look for a villa but there seems to be a great difference in price in the different locations here. I assume that that is based on newest to oldest developments? Can anyone tell me which ones are the newest? Only asking that because it appears that only newer villas have spa pool and are more likely to have tennis courts on site.

We stayed at Sanctuary in 2007. It was not long completed at that time and they were building Hamlet I think. Abbey was complete then as was Shire I think. We had a spa pool and tennis courts

Not sure when built but we stayed in villa at The Shire in 2015 and had a spa and think there were communal tennis courts too. Lovely area, planning to stay there again in 2018.

We stayed at The Shire at Westhaven in 2011. It definitely had a spa!

We're currently in a villa in the shire which has a pool and spa. There is a mix of villa styles at all of them, and they're all gated. Its a lovely area.

We stayed in the shire in 2013 and had a spa. Next year we are booked into a fab villa on the Dales again with a spa. It is a dibb villa owned by Mr Sleepy. Lovely chap to deal with. Check it out!

We've stayed in both The Sanctuary (one level, 3 bedroom villa) and also The Shire which was a larger 5 bedroom two storey villa and both were fantastic. I love the location of Westhaven though and would never stay anywhere else now besides Champions Gate or around that end of the 27.
It was nice having gated entry on these two occasions also and the villas were both fantastic without fault. I hope you enjoy your trip wherever you end up! |

It's not the age of a home on West Haven that determines whether it has a spa. It would have been the choice of the first owners when the houses where being built if they wished to have this additional extra or not. All the communities are lovely regardless of which one you choose to stay in.
