Help me decide
Morning all, im planning on a week onsite at the beginning of our next trip probably 2020 and I'm trying to choose between CBR and POR, anyone done both and which would you choose and why? We are family of five, me, DH, DS19, DD13 and DD10, I realise we will be short of space in room but will be moving to villa for 10 nights after so not too bothered about room space for a week.

In 2020, I would go for CBR. If POR isn't under renovation by then, it will be looking tired by comparison. Where CBR will be still pretty newly out of its big refurb and should be lovely.
ETA: That is assuming the new CBR rooms can sleep 5 - there's only two of us so it's not something I've ever checked. |

We've done both and like different aspects of them. We found the food court at POR to be much better than the one at CBR. However we loved the outside seating at the centre town area of CBR and spent many happy evenings there with the movie on in the background, kids and dh sorting out their pins and needles writing up my food report. However, I'm not sure what that's going to look like it if it will still exist once they've finished the building work. I hope they'll drastically improve the food court too. I think the pool at CBR is better than the one at POR though, but we like the lush, green, natural turning at POR. I'd happily stay at both, and both have rooms that sleep 5 which are exactly the same size and layout. CBR is normally cheaper than POR, but that may change after the refurbishment and gondalas have been built. For me, it would come down to price I think. The good thing is, that you'll know what the new cbr is like by the time you need to book, so will be able to make a more informed decision

Thank you both very much for your replies, it probably will come down to price in the end although CBR is winning at the moment as it will all nice and new🙂
