Will it be cheaper for Dream when first released?
We're thinking of doing a cruise on the new Dream in August '11. Do you think it will be cheaper to book straight away and who do you all book with? We're risking taking DS2 with us and hope he's OK with it.

Generally as a rule the further out you book the cheaper it is. If you book through Dreams Unlimited or book through DCL and then transfer your booking they usually apply any special offers that may come up. Although when we went there weren't any special offers, always the way!
The Dream looks fantastic and we loved cruising on the Wonder, our highlight of the trip. xx

That was certainly the case when we went last year on the Wonder.
Also looking to go in Aug 2011 on the 4 day cruise and have got Dreams Unlimited looking into prices for me as soon as they are released. |

Thank you, think I'll have to have a good look when the prices are released. Also need to swat up which type of cabin and area as well

H Caron ... I'm booking the Maiden Voyage on the Dream on Monday!
You can book for Aug on Monday too and the prices will be the cheapest now. If you look here, you can see some prices (released to Platinum CC members only until next week) ... {link removed - could you please post relevant info here rather than linking to information in a thread on another forum - thanks } You'll have to scroll through quite a few pages to find the right dates, but it will give you some idea Also loving the avatar p.s. If you want a quote (Monday earliest) .. fill in this form. We deal with Tracy Whipple who is very good. If you want her, put her name in the special request box, then let her know I recommended her once she emails you (I don't get commission by the way)! Request Form for Dream quote

Here are the deck plans ..
{admin edit to put info here rather than linking to another site} The staterooms on the Dream are slightly smaller than the Wonder and the Magic. The inside rooms (Cat 11's) have virtual portholes where Disney characters pop up every now and again! For more room, go for a veranda (Cat 6 or 7) .. they're lovely. We had one last year and we've got the same room for next year. Stay away from the elevators and laundry rooms .. try to go midship if you get sea sick and also try to be away from the clubs/restaurants/theatres etc (above or below).

Caron, I am patiently waiting for prices to come out as I am considering moving my booking for next Sept to 2011 as I would rather give up the Sept 3 night and do a 4/5 nighter on the Dream.
Like you say there is much to think about Have plenty of paracetemol handy, I can imagine those headaches
