Question Transferring Booking to Dreams Unlimited

Could someone please explain how this works as I'm not sure I understand what you do and how you transfer your booking from DCL

I did this recently and it was really simple. We booked with DCL direct at first. Then on the DU website there was a form you could fill out to transfer your booking to them. I filled it out and within a couple of days it was all done. No hassle at all. I kept everything the same such as stateroom number and I can now view my booking on both the DU and DCL site.

Its no trouble at all to do it.

Thanks Leanne.

So assuming you have just paid a deposit, do you pay the balance to DU or to DCL?

Good to see you've made it back from DLP in one piece..

You pay DU the balance ...which is easier because you can make part payments as and when you like, on line and without contacting them (just log into your reservation) ... and take advantage of any peaks in the pound/dollar rates.

You can also email them to get your ressie transferred - I can confirm its all 'plain sailing' and no disavantage (and you do have the advantage of keeping the DCL on board credit as well as DU's)

As above you pay DU. We pay it off in bits and bobs as and when we have it. You can easily make a payment here and there if you have some spare cash one week. Its very convenient and nice to see the balance coming down.

The two lots of onboard credit is a nice bonus and helps towards the tips, or in my case, the bar bill!

We had a fab time at DLP.

Thank you I must admit it's the thought of having the extra onboard credit which appeals...

A few extra cocktails seems like a good idea to me - it's not as if I'll be driving home after all..

Glad you enjoyed DLP - can't wait to see some piccies of you all

Quick question... how does this work if we are using DVC point that are converted, and booked through DCL. If I can transfer it and get the credits that would be great. Can I transfer?

Not sure, but I'm sure if you emailed DU they would know.
