What are Delta and KLM like to fly with.

Seen a good price in the Black Friday sale (ends tonight) for our trip to Nashville next year, but flights from Amsterdam to Atlanta are with Delta - How are they to fly Transatlantic with and how much does is cost to book extra leg room as we cannot pre do this on KLM's website.

We used delta from Manchester to Atlanta on our last trip and I thought they were great. I don't pay for extra leg room but normal seatbookings were free. Lots of films on the tv system. Food ok

I'd use them again

Is it free to pre book seats.

We really love delta & KLM, food, snacks & drinks are plentiful & seat pitches are generous. If I remember seat booking was included

Delta are my airline of choice, ahead of Virgin, Thompson, BA etc. (Unless a Dreamliner is involved).

No schmaltz, just good, professional service and at great prices. The seatback IFE and meals are also fine. They are particularly attractive to me also, because I like using provincial and other airports in order to start my holiday exactly where I want to and leave likewise. Delta have extremely good and frequent connections to those airports through their Atlanta hub. I.e, next Easter we arrive in Pensacola and leave from Daytona Beach.

Seat selection is also free from time of booking.

I have not flown KLM and therefore cannot comment.

We loved our flights with Delta a few years ago Joanne. The comfort seats are worth the extra if you can get them at a good price.
