I've always wanted to go at Christmas, so I'm loving this report.

What are you doing / where are you going on the west coast? We've been there twice in the last three years and may possibly go again in 2014.

Hi, thank you, hope to do next day today! it was so special but soooo cold for a lot of the time.
Our plan for West Coast is in my planner link but we have had a bit of a letdown re the airstream we had booked, they cancelled on us so I have now booked one night in Zion and will probably book one night in Mt Carmel for the other.
DH and I have been three times and did Arizona/Vegas when I was pregnant with DS!
I will do a pre trippie report but I MUST finish the Xmas report first before my memory fails me!

Ahh so she has been before, DS has not and is looking forward to DLand, SF, the coast and Vegas.

How strange, we both went when pregnant, no rides I suppose! Touring was fun even though I was pregnant, I just got in and out of the car and looked a lot and sat and looked at the views a lot, GC, Bryce and Zion, so looking forward to going back.

The first time we did San Diego to San Francisco, including Scottsdale Az and Las Vegas. We loved SF but hated LA and swore we'd never go back. The last two trips in 2010 and 2012 have been Southern California and LV as we flew in and out of McCarran direct from Manchester. We also did a short trip to SF and Monterey in October 2009.
The kids favourite places (we have 2 daughters) were Anaheim, San Diego and Laguna Beach.

Yes we are doing Anaheim and just stopping in Hollywood For the stars and the sign on the way in, not a lover of the rest of LA either. We planned to go to Laguna Beach while there and do thenWarner Bros tour on the way out. We love the coastal route but have never done San Diego I wish we had now but I wanted to do the National Parks and SD is one we could fit in on a return trip if we just did Vegas and California. not sure when though, this one has cost us a bomb in e school hols.
