Ah that makes sense

Did you find through last minute?

I look at sky scanner

Been monitoring since May. Usually book in June but procrastinated due to da's health - watched Skyscanner, LastMinute, Netflights, Opodo etc., on a daily basis. Refreshed Skyscanner at 12.20am, 17th Aug to see VA had kicked off a sale at midnight. Checked all, LM were cheapest at £687, also got 2.2% cash back from Quidco.

To be honest if on a par I'll book via VA, but 3rd party TA's often far cheaper. My brother regularly books with Netflights but has also used LM.

Used them for our flights in may, they where alot cheaper then thomas cook direct. We had no problems with them. I contacted them a few times and they were very responsive and helpful. X

Sorry for the delay, been busy with work.

I just booked the BA flights, took a screen print of the same flight on the other company website, then completed a BA price match claim, you can search for this online.

The claim has to be made the same day as you book with BA, but search the price match before you book to check the rules.

I used TravelUp for flights to Madrid for a weekend away as they were miles cheaper. Experience was a bit iffy - they didn’t send through an e-ticket (just a booking confirmation) and I didn’t realise until the day before the flight when I was trying to check in. I found them more difficult to get hold of on the phone than I expected (I think I had to ring a couple of times) but all sorted in the end.

I would use them again but would make sure to be a bit more on the ball with booking confirmations, seat reservations etc.
