DS has been off school this week with a stinker of a cold. Huddled up on the couch, we have had a film marathon. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (extended versions) and the original Star Wars trilogy. All brilliant films, but I have not had a very productive week so far!

I don’t think I could watch the film, but the book is incredible, give it a read if you get the chance!

I bought Silver Bullet on Blu-ray for nostalgia - it's an 80s werewolf movie from Stephen King with a young Corey Haim (RIP) and Gary Busey. Loved it as a teenager, and loved it just as much now!

Enola Holmes on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. It’s just so nice to watch something different.
Excellent cast too. Hard to believe Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) is only 16. Terrific actress.

Prisoners. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. Great movie. Slow burn thriller. Even though I love Hugh Jackman, I thought he was miscast in this. His character was horrible but you almost sympathised with him because he was played by HJ 🙈🤣
