How times change!

16 years ago today I was heading off to WDW for my honeymoon with my now ex husband - this was the trip that re-ignited my love for Florida and was the first of many trips to the happiest place on earth!
Whilst I’ve totally moved on from the marriage and have found happiness again, I can’t stop having the pangs today that a trip to Florida seems so far out of reach thanks to the current restrictions 😒
Hoping the bottle of Prosecco I’ve just started will help me count my blessings and get over the blues I’m feeling today!

Funnily enough, I’ve been pining for the theme parks as well.
For me, it’s something to do with the feelings when there, of being untouched by the real world and being able to escape into a playground for a while. That would be a mighty fine thing to be enjoying right now.

I always used to read your trippies, glad you've found happiness.
As for trips to Florida - keep the faith it will happen. We've booked for next Sept/Oct and if that plane is flying we'll be on it, masks, hand gel and all.

We flew out on the 30th November last year, it was the first time I've been while the Christmas decorations have been up and we just adored it. All the groups' posts, vlogs etc. have been really making me pine for it the last couple of weeks.

Usually it's just Halloween time that gets me when we're not going that year around that time, but it seems now that it's going to be Christmas also going forwards!

I think we are all wanting that escapism that Disney offers us. You literally do enter a world of happiness when you enter ‘The World’.
It’s great that you are happy in many aspects of your life right now. The Amazing thing is that Disney is ready and waiting for us when we are able to return.
