I fly Delta a lot with work, both across the Atlantic and internally in the US. Whilst I agree the the transatlantic flights are good (although some planes are really dated) the internal flights aren’t great. And there are better options.

As some mentioned the cabin crew are probably more ‘mature’ than Virgin and maybe the different type of service comes with that.

I love flying and for me the flight is a big part of my holiday. For work I am happy to fly Delta but my holidays I will always try and fly Virgin, maybe because I don’t want it to feel like a work trip, definitely because I don’t like the bland blue interior of Delta and probably I find Virgin a little more relaxed and easy going.

Another thumbs up for Delta. We found the cabin crew lovely, like the more "mature" ladies who work in M&S and always have time to stop and have a chat with you when you`re paying! We liked being able to pick our seats without charge as soon as we`d booked too.

Where are you connecting? I am actually looking to fly Delta to try it out, as friends have also recommended it :-)
