I've only had it twice, I've not felt ill with either of them, but my arm was quite sore both times, but it only lasts for a couple of days.

The only side effect I've ever had after having the flu jab is if someone pressed my arm where the needle went in, or If I try and sleep on my arm that night, it feels a bit bruised. That's all though.

I have it every year!

I didn’t feel sick so I’ve voted no.

But I do always or at least usually have some discomfort in the area and it gets hot. I’ve found the pneumonia jab worse!

Only side effect ive ever had (been getting them since i was early teens i am now in my forties) is a swollen sore arm. Last year a new pharmacist gave me it and he was fab. Told me not to do anything with that arm for the rest of the day, had to drive straight home and not really use it and i wouldn't have a sore arm and he was correct. First one to ever tell me that.

Interesting, I have always seen it as a good sign that my immune system was doing what it is supposed to and reacting to the vaccine.

I voted no, but I did have a sore arm for a day or so. One of the times I was a little light headed for maybe an hour afterwards.

Like others have said normally just a sore arm, only once did I have a nasty reaction and that was after the original swine flu vaccine in 2009/2010, was poorly for quite a few days but just unlucky as never had any reactions before that one or after it.

Nope, sore swollen arm and that’s it. All three of us in the house have it and had done since DS19 was little as he has health issues and we have never been ill.

In all my years I have never had a sore arm. I think in part its being able to be relaxed when the jag is given. As a nurse I have given hundreds if not thousands of injections. Basically if your tense and therefore your muscles are tense it will impact on how sore your arm will be after.
