Would you do 9 days in Orlando?

Hey all,

I have 1 week in NY booked for next year and after our WDW trip was cancelled this year considering tagging Orlando on to NY.

Really wanted ten days but flights don't line up.

9 instinctively feels weird in my mind, anyone done 7/9 days?

Was it enough/a good experience?

Thank you for any tips/advice x x

We have been many times for a week. Wouldn't think twice about going for 9 days if it suited.

Thanks for this, I've only ever done 14 days previously so it's making me weirdly apprehensive that it will feel rushed.

I would. Are you planning on Disney? Universal? Or no theme park type trip?

I’d limit it probably to say just Disney or just Universal to get the best out of the money spent on tickets rather than trying to “do” everything.

We're thinking just Disney. Maybe one day at Universal to do some of the bigger rides but no more than that.

Thanks for the encouragement

We’ve done 7 days but just Universal, Disney Springs & shopping. DW is too time consuming for a short stay imo.

We did a week last year just universal it was great, stayed on international drive and 2 nights royal Pacific for the fast passes, didn’t even bother with a car just Uber everywhere, go for it

We’ve done 9 days-just WDW. Plenty of time particularly if you’ve been before and will go again. Think we skipped one park and any waterparks but Id rather have 9 days than nothing

We've done a few 7 nights in Feb for my birthday and not found it rushed at all. We even did 4 nights Disney and 3 nights cruise once and didn't feel rushed. Also NY and Orlando is a great combo and a week in NY is amazing, I'm jealous! Enjoy the planning.

My last trip was 6 nights and didn't feel rushed at all for what I wanted to do, so 9 would be a luxury and what I was planning for next year (due to taking a first timer) before I cancelled.

As long as you're not trying to do it all, it's more than enough time.
