How old is your house?

Completely inspired by another thread, but how old is the house that you're living in right now? I'll put a poll on if I can remember how to do it, but surprised about the age of the houses mentioned on the thread - admitted it would have bias towards newer houses, but just wondering if we're mostly in new build estates or on a listed country estate?

125 years old. House was totally refurbished 3 years ago by two builders. Most original features remain but some were lost previous to that.

As they refurbished we have no old house issues but will need a new roof at some point. Not looking forward to that bill.

Is it haunted? I'm obsessed with ghosts 😉

Ours is a 1948 build. One of the first new builds after the War so built on license as materials were still in short supply..

It was semi derelict when we bought it and we couldn't even move in for 3 Months whilst I did work to make it habitable.

Funny story. In 1986 when we bought it I stripped all the wallpaper off first and got an old Mate of mine to come up and put coving in every room.

He pointed out his signature on a wall dated 1952. It was his first job after he had done his National Service.

Mine is a rented housing association house [ex council], it was built in 1959 which makes it 61 years old.
