Who fetches the presents
So me and hubby are having a Christmas Eve debate as usual.
Who fetches the presents. He says that Santa should fetch them all I say Santa fetches the stocking and the presents are from mum and dad(us) What do you think ? |

Santa gives small value stocking gifts.
All other gifts are from those who bought them including parents.

I agree with both if you 100%. It is how my parents did it and I have carried on. IMO it eliminates a long list of potential issues.

Santa leaves a small sack in the bedroom. Everything else is from actual people.

Santa delivers the stockings and a few of the tree presents downstairs including the big presents each. The rest are from Mum and Dad.
 Enjoy the magic with your little ones, I really miss leaving out the Xmas Tray with carrots etc , and doing the footprints on the carpet with magical glitter dust.

Our two are now 21 and 23 but Santa brought all presents in our house.

Mum and dad send them to Father Christmas and he decides if they get them in Christmas Day . I miss the 4 am start in a way. It’s not the same now they are older. Although One is currently sat drinking with us and we still don’t get everything out until they are in bed

Santa delivers on behalf of the person/people they are from. I think the kiddy then knows to thank that person for their gift rather than thinking Santa has an endless pot of money for presents!
