Found this from my online transcript last week. But was told different today.

13:12:00 [Sian] I am just waiting on a response from my colleague about the economy classic

13:12:08 [John Daly] Thanks

13:12:22 [Sian] Would you like me to email you once I have a response

13:14:30 [John Daly] You can if thats easier

13:15:51 [Sian] Ok so yes you would be automatically changed to the economy classic and yes you will be able to choose your seats free of charge 331 days prior to your flight departure date

Just called Flying Club, policy as above is correct but no refunds on existing booked seats. That said, she did recommend I email.

Not too bothered about my outbound but bearing in mind I booked the others the day before the announcement I do feel they should not have been taking the bookings at that stage.

I'll wait until the changes are launched and see what actually happens. As there are 3 of us we are thinking of booking one of the middle rows of 3 at the back of teh plane (We have booked these for our return on Delta) but I'm tempted to book the ELR seats for Ł40 and hope for a conversion to "Delight" to get the priority check in. Only problem with that is that they are only avaiable in rows of 2, so we wouldn't get to sit together.

Will be interesting to see.
I would like to know too! I paid Ł500 for our return ELR seats on Friday before knowing any of this.
We're going in Aug and feel abit confused by all this 🤔

I have contacted them via Twitter again today.

Yesterday they told me there would be no change to my May flight and I would still have to pay to book seats.

I have sent them screenshots of other people being told the opposite by their live chat and email etc and requesting that they escalate the query for clarification.

They have replied with:

Thanks so much for the details and screen shots. I'm just awaiting on clarification on this and I'll come back to you ^E

😂 ^S told me yesterday there was no change. Hopefully one of the other letters can come along and sort it!

We should all start bombarding them and make it known we want answers.

Dibbers - Assemble! 😂
