Hi,

Dependent on what it is, find an online support group related to it and register with a completely different name not associated to you. That way you can still get help, but no one knows who you are, and you can ask anything you like with no judgement and anonymously.

Hope that helps and you get sorted.

You can speak to your GP, they can be very good listeners and sounding boards.

Although you are not a member of a church, you can still speak to a member of the clergy in confidence and there are female ministers and vicars in lots of churches.

You can contact them to speak in person or by phone. They will listen and give you assistance if possible. Whether or not you believe will not be a factor in their willingness to help you.

I wish you well. ❤

Samaritans are amazing even its just a confidential ear you need! They aren’t just for a crisis although this is a common misconception.

I volunteered for Samaritans years ago, you can talk to them about anything, and ask for a female volunteer to listen, no problem at all. They cannot offer advice though, they are only there to listen.
We are always here if you feel comfortable to share x

Samaritans will listen and are excellent but I don’t think they give advice. Depending on your problem, you may find a specialist organisation such as relate, women’s aid, Mind, age UK, Citizen’s Advice, NAPAC, victim support, Priory or Marie Curie are just a few. Another option could be asking your gp for advice.

I do hope you get support soon and things improve for you x

Yes you can. I had an issue from my childhood which haunted me for years. About thirty years ago I phoned them and asked for a lady.

Best thing I ever did xx. Best wishes

Unfortunately, my healthcare cover at work excludes any mental health issues, they removed it to reduce the premium.

I will need a solicitor for advice, certainly. I plan to find an appropriate one tomorrow. It’s more the emotional side of it that I’m struggling with. I’m hurting really badly but have to put on a brave face and pretend everything’s ok.

So sorry you’re going through something.

A lot of really good helpful pointers already. Another thing at my place of work we have mental health first aiders, they are there as a sounding board and can direct you to help available if they think it’s required, as well as an employee assistance phone number which is manned 24/7.

Best wishes xx
