My gob seriously smacked ...

As I’m going to U.K. in September daughter and I are looking at going away for a night ( with grandson) thinking of London for the zoo or aquarium etc but thought I’d give Lego land a price up

£464 for one night two day tickets for 2 adults and 1 child

Am I totally out of touch is that not totally ridiculous

yep kids have wanted to go for ages, family of 7 always ends up £900 or more for the same package so have never been. We did go to the orlando one last year thought after getting 14 day tickets for £25 each. They loved it and they had no queues so was better than some of the reviews i have read on windsor. We had a good day but if windsor is the same its not worth the £££ imo.

I guess if you calculate park entry for 2 days for the 3 of you plus breakfast it does mount up.

I personally think one day at legoland is more than enough.

Personally I think Legoland can go swing for that amount of money.

It’ll probably rain all day anyway

It totally overpriced. We live 40 mins away but considered a one night stay for my dd birthday. The price was stupid and that was with a merlin pass discount. I heard the food is awful at the hotels too!

Premier inn for less than £50 and you can always get a 2 for 1 voucher for Legoland. We did find one day was enough for what was there though.

We went a few years ago but stayed at a hotel near ascot which was only about a 10 -15 min drive away from Legoland. I think we even booked it via the legoland site itself.

Take a look here, moneysavingexpert/de...oland-windsor/

This may help find some 2 for 1 tickets.

I actually noticed today, on our carex soap packet half price entry and free fast track for some of the merlin attractions, get a few of those, and a premier inn nearby, then you could do a day at Legoland and a day somewhere else (Windsor has good London train links)

You can also get 2 for 1 tickets by using the train as well.
