We braved the shops today..
So officially done and it wasn’t that busy. Oh and I took Dd, 17 shopping. Have got some bits for her to open but wanted her to choose the rest. We got into the city about 3, it was busy but not rammed. Oh and I got some bargain shoes, £15 for 4 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of boots for him and heels and rocket dog pumps for me. Dd got a jumper from new look, underware from H&M and half price chunky trainers from schuh so she still has a little money left for January.
We then went to Weatherspoons for a meal and a few drinks. Was packed in there but managed to grab a table and enjoyed our evening together. Even got a round of free drinks as our meal was lost on the system and came out late. Time to relax and enjoy it now, just got to take my mum food shopping early Xmas eve morning. Happy Christmas everyone. |

Happy Christmas Roxie.
Me and the husband went into Liverpool today. We were in M&S for 7am, it was all very civilised. As the other shops were still closed, we then popped into an empty Wetherspoons for breakfast. We had a great day (managed just over 20K steps) and it wasn’t as busy or as manic as we thought it would be.

Thank you. I normally get organised early and avoid the shops, maybe because Dd was shopping rather than me it wasn’t as stressful.
The shop we got the shoes from had everything half price, even off the sale price. Oh boots were £2.50, can’t go wrong with that, even if they only last a couple of months. Hope you have a lovely Xmas and new year...uni for our daughters next year! |

I have felt sad a few times when putting the tree up etc as DD won’t be here for it next year. Although I am looking forward to a few trips shopping in Bristol (her first choice uni) with her next year in the run up to Christmas.
It may be different with them away, but I’m sure we will all see plenty of them (especially if they need something 😀 ) Merry Christmas WhereIBelong 🎄 |
