It was never going to stop your fridge working but there was a good chance it would have calculated negative interest on your bank account (the area I worked on).

I think the current uncertainty is making people more cautious so this has a knock on effect on people booking holidays. So while the airline isnt directly affecting by the EU, nervous customers opting to stay home would.
My husband and I were both working for the Gartner group at the time so had a pretty good insider view too. There was an awful lot of money made out of "precautionary" stuff and a lot of scaremongering. Exactly the same as Brexit , some areas for concern and an awful lot that wasn't !

I do think a lot of people haven't booked for some less than realistic reasons due to some of the remainer propoganda that isn't entirely based on reality.

I'm hoping Brexit proves to be as lucrative, it certainly is shaping up that way at the moment. The amount people are willing to pay for advice on how their systems will hold up to the impact of Brexit is eyewatering - and I'm saying that and I'm the one framing up the price they have to pay...

Yep, we should also be treated to a mini epidemic in 2047/48 (due to the way binary digits work)
