Camera Tripod

Hi,

I'm looking for suggestions for a handheld camera tripod for my Panasonic Lumix camera that would be suitable for carrying around all day at Disney. This is really the only time I will use it so I don't want to spend a fortune but at the same time, I want to be sure that my camera isn't going to fall off.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have a Panasonic Lumix too! Just bought a Joby GorillaPod for mine, after some recommendations on here. I have a regular tripod too, but this one is a lot smaller and lighter. I am looking forward to using it in Florida in a few weeks! I did read a lot of reviews before I bought it and there was no way I was risking my camera on a cheaper version, which is why I went for the GorillaPod in the end. It was about £57 on Amazon (including the ball head joint but it is cheaper without).

No recommendations but last time i looked, Disney state tripods have to be small enough to fit in a standard rucksack. Though no definition of what standard was.

I've taken my extendable tripod in several times. It does fold down into a small bag though.

I recently bought this one from Amazon after it was recommended to me. Looks good, just waiting for my camera to arrive now so I can test it out properly!
