Orlando airport to Cabana Bay?

Normall we stay in Disney for the whole holiday, but this year for the first time, we are spending the first 2 nights in Universal. We normal exit the airport by the south exit and go to the 417 straight to Disney.

Whats the best/easiest way to get to Universal? Is it out the north exit, onto the 528 straight to I4, or come of the 528 onto W Sand Lake Rd?

Thanks!

The easiest way is out of the North exit and along the 528 West, but them to come off it onto UNIVERSAL BLVD! (its before I-drive exit and I4)

Then follow universal blvd until you reach universal and the big overhead signs will tell you to turn left, go past RPR and thenturn left again and Cabana Bay is on your right.

Universal Blvd also has a publix supermarket on your left just a little bit after coming off the 528, so you can get drinks and snacks for the room if you wish.

Thanks! We were going to go to Walmart on Turkey Lake Rd but Publix will be better.

Yes Publix is a far better shopping experience. A few cents dearer, but so much nicer for a food shop.
The route suggested above is exactly what I would do

Thank you. Disappointed I can’t get on the Publix website to do a shopping list though 😂

And to get to the Turkey Lake Walmart from Cabana Bay, you turn left out of the hotel, turn left at the Traffic lights at the T junction then left at the nexxt set of lights onto Turkey Lake Road drive past the back of Cabana bay and Volcano Bay andcontinue to the Walmart.

If you turn right out of Cabana Bay you are on the slip road onto the I4 going West and have to join the I4. But you cannot come off at SandLake Road as the exit for it has already happened (it goes under or over you - cann't remember which one), so going on the I4 is no good for the Sandlake Road exit, but ok for Disney etc.
