Changes to the DVC Website

They've made changes to the Resort Availability Tracker on the website which is useful.

They've also made adjoining studios at the Poly a bookable room category which I'm sure will be good for some people.

I also read a notification that you can now modify your reservations online without having to call MS. I might test it out with a dummy booking but that would be amazing if it works.

"As we continue to enhance your online experience by offering more self-service functionality, we are happy to announce the ability to modify Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations online. This new functionality will be made available on June 21, 2018 and can be found on your dashboard by selecting "View and Modify" for a specific reservation. Additionally, you will see that the Resort Availability Tool has been combined with Online Booking so that finding an available room and booking the reservation is a more seamless experience"

Went to have a nosey around the new website and it had me slightly worried as I couldn't easily find my reservations for August.

After much searching I eventually came across the bookings but not sure I liked the format. Hopefully it is still a work in progress.

Also I see they haven't put the ability to add the QSDP or DDP to a reservation back onto the site yet.

I’m just pleased it will make switching resorts at 7 months much more straightforward. No more having to cancel and rebook.

Isn't it wonderful Disney have done so much to help us Members get the most from the website.

Ooops stupid me. They have done it so they can lay staff off.

I do like the idea of being able to modify a reservation online, but tend to agree with you that it will probably mean fewer operators available when you want to actually speak to a human on the phone

Yep, I did a dummy booking earlier and played around with it, so should be able to just do it yourself from now on! Exciting!

But just think that might save us $.0001 per point in dues!
