I've done carrot and turnip mashed with butter, salt and pepper and put in fridge. Sprouts I drained, added a bit of salt, pepper, butter and put all in fridge in large plastic bowls covered with cling film x

We had our impromptu buffet for 15 last night... disposable cooking trays and paper plates were used - so much easier with less to wash up. (though I must admit I put the trays through the dishwasher for the recycling - we burned the plates in the firepit outside later after toasting marshmallows on sticks for pudding).

trays will be used for Christmas day, but not prepping veg as I like the calm before the storm (i.e. doing nowt! today)...
