Has anyone watched Marie Kondo tidying up series on Netflix?
I have quite an ordered and tidy house, but recently binge watched the Netflix series ‘tidying up’ my Marie Kondo. I have since had a wonderful declutter, and my cupboards in particular are looking very tidy and ordered. It’s so therapeutic!
Anyone else watched this series? |

I watch bits on You Tube, she is a bit OTT for me, but the results are great.

My daughter has been watching her and has really decluttered her room. She (my daughter) also got on at me and I properly decluttered my cupboards too.
Thing is somethings she was trying to throw away cos Marie Kondo said was just silly. I felt she was throwing away stuff she would use because Marie Kondo said there was no need for it. |

I've watched one episode, I'm not loving the mix of subtitles, interpreter and her own English when dealing with the families, just wish they'd stick to one thing, its jarring. However her system seems to work well for smaller spaces and those who need the help to declutter things they are attached to; I'm not a sentimental person when it comes to stuff, so not sure it would work for me.
I do like her though, she seems sweet and loves what she does. |

I like how she folds clothes, lame as that sounds! It must be great to open your drawers and be able to find what you are looking for quickly.

I've "Kondoed" my tshirt drawers, my pajamas drawer and my trousers shelf. Oh and recently my sock drawer and my bra drawer
When I tidied my dining room cabinet I was very brutal. I've not seen the programme, though. |

I haven’t seen her say you must throw anything out. I was quite impressed that she says if you aren’t sure put it to one side and decide later. Or keep it in an sensible way.
I really like her approach. Think about if you want to own the item. Does it make you happy. Is it useful. Or are you keeping it because you think you ought too or feel guilty getting rid. |

I’ve got her book but will have a look on Netflix.

I Kondo'ed my clothes just over a year ago, it's still all tidy and I can find things easily.
Once you get in to the habit of the folding it takes moments. Love it I haven't watched the Netflix programs, I first saw it on Youtube . Sandra
