MaxPass question

Is there a way of purchasing MaxPass prior to entering the park if you have your tickets linked in the app? The night before perhaps?

i haven't bought tickets yet but assume if I get a physical ticket rather than a voucher I would be able to link the tickets to the app.

Thanks

I have added my tickets in the app. Just had a look for you and it will not allow me to purchase maxpass as I am not in the park. Not sure if there is another way to do it as Disneyland is completely new to us.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be able to advise.

No, unfortunately you can't purchase the MaxPass until you are inside one of the theme parks.

Thanks all - understand you cant use until inside the park but hoped to purchase read to save a little time on the phone paying etc.

Which companies sell tickets you can put straight into the app as I have seen people talking about vouchers and having to swap fro tickets then add to app!

Was looking at ATD and Attractiontix - do they both allow you to add to the app straight away?

I bought them at the Disney desk in our non Disney hotel and they linked straight away, I think that I used the camera on the phone within the diney app to scan the barcode, one id din not recognise so I added it manually. This was the night before we went to the park

If you buy in one transaction ( ticket including max pass) from California Disney you can add them to your phone as soon as you have bought them!
