When we take our Granddaughter we buy Pick n Mix from Wilko beforehand. Plus she has a bottle of water.
No way am I paying cinema prices for snacks. The film is the treat although she does try it on saying her Parents buy her a hotdog - not me! Our local 'out of town' Showcase is £6 for me as a Senior and the same for a Child. I get my Wife in on a Meercat code off the kids.

We have Cineworld unlimited so the price of each showing isn't a huge issue to us! Its very good value if you go once or twice a week. As we are there so often we never buy snacks and just take in a bottle of water.
Phone screens and seat kickers are the most annoying regular thing, although last time we went the man sitting next to me fell asleep and proceeded to snore like a buzzsaw. Have to admit I got increasingly peed off that his companions didn't wake him up as it was so loud! In the end we had to move in the middle of the film. |

That's what I've got...and I get mine for only £144 for the year through work. Well worth the money cause if I'm not enjoying a film I can walk out and go an see another one the same day. On average I see three films a week

I really hate when parents allow their children to run around and climb over seats all the way through the film

You beat me then I get to see on average 70 a year , i feel I get good value from the card , saving over £400 a year , mind you I do go to see movies I wouldn't bother going to see if I had to pay each visit. Sometimes movies I wouldn't have bothered to go to have turned out to be my favourites . I got my card as a birthday gift four years ago , it was an expensive gift as it got me hooked and I renew my card each year now 😊 it's definately the best gift I have had as it's brought me a lot of enjoyment .
I have been the only person in the screening on a couple of occasions , that's a strange experiance , private viewing 😂

i used to have a cineworld unlimited card, and was happy to pay the tenner a month (well, £20 as i paid for the gf too), even if we didnt go that often... but they kept putting prices up, and now its around £18 a month per person. sod that! instead i buy cheap tickets through work. £20 for four tickets, and that will usually last us a month or two.
cineworld here is £11.90 for normal 2d movies and £17.90 for imax 3d the showcase (with big leather recliner seats) is £10.85 or £13.85 for xplus (if you bring your own glasses) but if you buy tickets through our work social club, they are a fiver each for showcase 2d tickets, so that's what we do most of the time. well, that, or use a meerkat movies voucher code if we are in town and end up at the cineworld... |
