Pin trading starter sets
Hi all, my girls want to try pin trading on our next visit, I’ve bought some pins and cheap lanyards from eBay but I’d still like to buy a starter set when we are there, does anyone know if they appear in the outlets regularly and what price they usually are, thanks

We've seen starter sets at the outlets, around $15 I think. They also have a pin selection that's much cheaper than those in the parks, so you could always get a few of those too

we went into the 2 stores in the both outlets 2 or 3 times over our 3 and 1/2 weeks, they have zero pins or starter kits

Hi our kids loved pin trading when they were younger, about a 1000 pins later and some great memories . Some great cast members that they traded with, on one occasion our son needed 1 pin to finish a set of 26 (alphabet ) and was at Disney springs on our last evening and had checked with some cast members and we got chatting to a manager who told him to come back in 20 mins and of course had the pin and a couple of extras as a gift.

My DD got quite a few pins very cheaply at the Character Warehouse in Orlando International Mall in October last year. There were loads of older ladies (locals) trying to buy them all so definitely need to get there as the store opens. I believe the Vineland Mall store is busier so maybe the International Premium store is better for pins.
My DD got lots of Shanghai Disney Park celebratory opening day pins for $0.99, and a brilliant Nightmare Before Christmas starter set (lanyard and 4 pins) for around $15 so much cheaper than in the parks |
