NYC hotel shortlist - thoughts wanted

i've managed to get a shortlist of hotels for our trip in April, would be interested in any views from anyone who has stayed in any of the below, particularly on the immediate area e.g nice street, food options nearby etc

Intercontinental TS
Grand Hyatt
Kimpton Muse
The Benjamin
Lotte New York Palace (pretty sure we won't end up staying here due to cost, but I've booked a refundable room anyway!)

I can't help with the list but Rafa Nadal stays at the Lotte every August for the US Open.

Haha unfortunately I’m there in April but will bear in mind for future trips... wonder if they have a pool?

We stayed at New York Palace and thought it was in a perfect location. Close to Grand Central and easy walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. Loads of shops close by from Starbucks to clothes, shoes, bags etc. We loved it!

We just came back from the Intercontinental Barclay and loved it.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt but that was a while ago, location was great easy to walk places, right next door to Grand Central.

Thinking about booking here, were the rooms nice? I suppose we’d have s standard double.

We stayed at the Gregory near herald sq in December and were very impressed. Good location with easy access to most areas and restaurants

We stayed at the Room Mate Grace last autumn.

It is a small boutique hotel across the road from a Starbucks and a 2 minute walk to Time Square.

It is basic but the location worked well for us. It was close to plenty of restaurants, theatres and the subway.

We were literally using it for somewhere to sleep so did not need additional amenities
