I work in a school. My work colleague had them under her bust & was told she could come to school as long as they were covered which they were.
However for a certain amount of time she had to work in a different class as there was a child in her class with a life limiting long term condition. It was just a further precaution the school decided to take.

I had shingles in Florida. I felt terrible, flu like symptoms and I was sick a lot. Mine came out in tramlines on my back after 48 hours. I was admitted to Celebration Hospital before the blisters came out as I was so poorly! Toes do seem an odd place for them, but not impossible I suppose. I was off work for a fortnight even though the blisters were on my back. However I was off mainly because I felt so unwell. I was told later that had my blisters come out I would not have been allowed to fly.

I had them under my heel and they were incredibly painful. The doctor told me it was unusual to get them on a foot but not unheard of. I had no idea what was wrong because the spots weren’t particularly easy to see, but the doctor recognised them immediately. She said you can get them anywhere there are nerve endings. It was incredibly painful, but the antivirals took the pain off in a couple of days. I went to work with them (high school) but they were always covered.
All the very best for a speedy recovery. Edited at 08:09 PM. |
