we just paid for a quick turnaround one for our son it was £122 and it should be back within a week but you had to drop off at the passport office

Well I applied for them last Sunday night and posted our passports off on Monday. I got confirmation on Thursday that they have received our passports which I already knew as they got them on Tuesday as I sent them recorded. They processed mine straight away and it's printed and in the post on it's way back to me. Just waiting for them to do hubby's now, hopefully it will follow soon

Id renew them after your December trip so you'll have them for Easter I think. Just renewed ours on 1st Oct and I've just had a text saying they've been posted out.

I applied for mine on the 4th of October, they received my passport on the 10th of October (according to Royal Mail), but they only acknowledged it on the 12th. They have just today sent me an update to say my application has been approved and my new passport is on the way. It wasn’t as long as I thought it would be!
