Books often go out of stock until another print run. I will
almost guarantee more will be printed and distributed. Could also be affected by the global supply chain problems.

Just received an update from forbidden planet. They have stated pre order date change 25 November . I haven’t been charged. Great communication from them so far. I don’t mind waiting . it will be popular and there are delivery issues but it’s good to be informed though.

I’m still waiting for mine from Amazon Just had a online chat with Amazon and this was their reply “Sorry to inform you, but it seems item is not available in your nearest fulfillment centre.
Hence it is taking longer than expected.
You will get your item. as soon as it is available.”

Just off a long chat with Amazon where they have agreed to sell me it at £33.99 and credited me with the difference. For some reason I already had a voucher with Amazon so at the end of the day I paid £24 for the book.

First person refused saying they could not price match as if I was trying to get a refund after they had reduced the price. He struggled to see it was the opposite in that I had paid a lower price, they had damaged the book. refunded me but within a month they were trying to insist I now paid £16 more for a mistake they had made.

I've messaged my eBay seller and she's certain they're getting it soon! She did ask if I want to cancel but she's been very communicative so far so I'm going to wait (+ I paid £41 inc postage).

Thank you for the heads up. My copy from Amazon arrived damaged and I have until the 17th to exchange it. I have been checking daily and this morning it was still out of stock. Glad I saw your post this evening as I now have the exchange arriving this week. I just hope this one is not damaged!
