Anyone sailing on Celebrity Silhouette 8th October?
Hi,
Just wondering if any Dibbers are sailing on the 8th October sailing from Southampton on the Silhouette?

No, but I wish we were.
We did the first cruise on the Silhouette after the refurbishment in the Caribbean, wow what a lovely ship. We arrived back in Miami on the 23rd February 2020, back in the UK on the 25th. We were so lucky to have been able to cruise on her.

No, but I’ve done 2 UK cruises on her already this year and I am on her again on 18th October. Any questions?

Many thanks for your replies. Dh and I have just booked the 8th Oct. sailing. The itinerary has just changed to Spain and Canary Islands from Spain and Portugal! And you can no longer get off on your own again at ports, you have to go on organised excursions. Still really looking forward to it though and we've treated ourselves to Aqua class! 😁.

Not sure if you know, but The Lodge Guys are just posting their YouTube vlogs of the sailing they did a few weeks back, they’re a good watch x

The 18th October Canaries/Spain sailing is 11 nights and also originally included Portugal, but no longer, and as you say, no going off the ship on your own, which although a bit disappointing, is also reassuring that the ship's 'bubble' will be kept intact.
I hope you enjoy Aqua. We sometimes do it because DH likes the food in Blu, but I prefer the main dining room and am not too keen on the location/overhang on most of the Aqua cabins. I love breakfast in Blu though. Enjoy!

Yes... The last trip was Vancouver to Hawaii (and holibob - thanks covid!) so sea days are not a worry for us
We've not done aqua before though so looking forward to finding the differences 😊
