Do I have to book a hotel directly with Universal.com to get the Express Pass?

I'm looking to stay 1 nt at a Universal hotel. Do I have to book direct with Universal to get the Express passes or can I book the hotel through Hotels.com and still get it? Thanks in advance.

No, it's a general hotel benefit rather than an agent specific benefit. Fine to book through any reputable third party.

Same as is mentioned above but just clarifying that you only get the express pass for free when staying at Portifino, HRH and Royal Pacific. Apologies if you already know this anyway.

One thing to think about if booking a Universal hotel for the Express Pass is upgrading to a Universal Annual Pass. It's often the case that the saving on the hotel rate is greater than the cost of upgrading to an AP.

Travel Republic have had good prices on the Universal hotels - unless of course you are using Tesco vouchers for Hotels.com 🙂
